Steve Moretti

Steve Moretti serves as Executive Director of the Lafayette Society for the Performing Arts (LSPA), bringing more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit management, arts administration, fundraising, strategic planning, and community engagement. A nationally respected arts leader and accomplished musician, Moretti is passionate about strengthening organizations, expanding access to the arts, and building meaningful partnerships that enrich the communities they serve.

Prior to joining LSPA, Moretti co-founded and served as President and CEO of Macon Pops, where he led strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, marketing, and artistic programming while helping grow the organization into one of Middle Georgia’s premier performing arts organizations. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with orchestras, performing arts organizations, educators, and civic leaders across North America to develop innovative programming, strengthen nonprofit operations, and create lasting cultural impact.

An internationally recognized musician, Moretti is a two-time Grammy® Award nominee, Juno Award nominee, two-time Telly Award recipient, producer, audio engineer, and accomplished drummer. His work has been featured on PBS, NPR’s Performance Today, FOX Sports, CBS, and Lifetime, and he has performed and recorded with renowned artists including Josh Groban, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Rosemary Clooney, The Pointer Sisters, and Michael Brecker. He has also performed with many of the nation’s leading orchestras, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

As Executive Director of LSPA, Moretti is committed to honoring the organization’s rich history while leading it into an exciting new chapter of artistic excellence, organizational growth, and community engagement. He believes the performing arts have the power to inspire, educate, and bring people together, and he is dedicated to ensuring LSPA remains a vibrant cultural resource for generations to come.
