Stacey Hardigree, a LaGrange native, is a life-long member of our fine arts community. Since completion of her choral music education degree at Auburn University, Stacey has spent more than two decades enriching the lives of students in our area – both in the public and private sectors. Stacey brings a wealth of experience, teaching skill, and musical expertise to the LSPA family. As conductor and artistic director of the Young Singers of West Georgia for the past 13 years, Stacey has led hundreds of students to serve as ambassadors of LaGrange – sharing goodwill and music of the highest caliber at venues locally, nationally, and abroad. Some memorable performance experiences include Carnegie Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the National Shrine, the Santa Monica Pier, Northern Ireland, Austria, and Hungary. Locally, the Young Singers have presented heart-warming semi-annual concerts as well as performances at Hope For a Day/Paint the Town Pink, Sweet Land of Liberty Parade, United Way Merry Market, multiple nursing and retirement homes, and many others. Under Stacey’s direction, YSWG students have developed an outstanding reputation as school soloists, all-state chorus members, and scholarship recipients. Stacey looks forward to continuing and growing this fine tradition with LSPA.

“Our goal is to offer the highest quality of choral music education to develop musicianship, self-confidence, self-discipline, and teamwork skills through the power of music. We are excited about the future of the arts in LaGrange and the West Georgia region as we collaborate with the LSPA team.”
