Randy Powell

Randy Powell is a native of LaGrange Georgia. He l0ves art in all forms, and has played guitar since age 8. He earned an associated degree in Digital Media from WGTC, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film and television, and a minor in theatre from the University of West Georgia. He has produced and directed over 100 music videos for local, regional, and national touring bands, rappers, and musicians. He has composed and produced music for EA GAMES, Bubba Sparxxx, Steven Adler (of Guns N’ Roses), Rehab, and many other bands and artists. He began his career with LSPA in 2013, when he was cast as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. Since then, he has been an actor, a scenic artist, a set designer, an original music composer, a fight choreographer, a photographer, a videographer, a sound designer, a voice actor, and director. If you do not see him on the stage, chances are that you will hear him. His favorite role ever was as Randle McMurphy in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. He is forever grateful that he was given the opportunities that he has been given with LSPA and the Lafayette Theatre Company. He loves being part of this theatre and family!
