Lauren Collins

Lauren Collins is a dedicated music educator and performer with a passion for nurturing young voices. A graduate of LaGrange College, she holds a degree in Music Education with a concentration in voice. Now in her fourth year as an Elementary Music Specialist with the Troup County School System, Lauren has taught at both Rosemont and Hillcrest Elementary Schools, where she shares her love for music with children every day.

Lauren is certified in Orff Level I & II instruction and is an active member of the Georgia Music Educators Association. Outside the classroom, she sings with the Choral Society of West Georgia and leads children’s choir at First Presbyterian Church. She also serves as a vocalist and pianist with the Rosemont Church Worship Team.

Now in her fourth season as Assistant Director with the Young Singers of West Georgia, Lauren plays a vital role in both the musical and administrative success of the program. She assists with sectional rehearsals, concert planning, and music library management, while also supporting day-to-day operations and mentoring young singers with care and creativity.

Originally from Fairburn, Georgia, Lauren is engaged to be married and continues to pursue her calling to inspire and equip the next generation of musicians.
