Krista O’Connor

Krista O’Connor is an entrepreneur, filmmaker, and marketing professional with a diverse background spanning business, legal studies, sales, marketing, and the performing arts. A Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, Krista originally planned to pursue a career in law before following her passion for storytelling and the creative arts.

Over the past decade, she has built an impressive career in the film industry, serving as a writer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor, and actor. Her work includes writing, directing, and producing a feature film starring Academy Award-winning actor Lou Gossett Jr., showcasing her ability to lead creative projects from concept to completion.

Since making LaGrange her home, Krista has become deeply invested in strengthening the local arts community. She combines her creative vision with strategic marketing and business development to help arts organizations grow, build meaningful community partnerships, and expand opportunities for artists of all ages. Her love for performance began in high school theatre and has grown into a lifelong commitment to inspiring others through the arts.

When she’s not creating or promoting the arts, Krista enjoys spending time with her three children, all of whom have developed their own passions and talents. She is also an avid animal advocate, volunteering with local rescue organizations, fostering dogs in need, and serving her church as a camera operator. Whether behind a camera, developing new programs, or supporting her community, Krista is driven by a belief that the arts have the power to educate, inspire, and bring people together.
