Alan Whitehouse

Since leaving active service as a U.S. Marine Corps officer—where he specialized in logistical support and information systems management—Alan transitioned into the healthcare industry before joining LSPA. He first worked at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA, as the Director of Applications, then moved to Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, GA, serving as CIO and Division Director overseeing both Information Systems and Plant Operations. More recently, he was the CIO at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center before transitioning to Director of IT Customer Relations for WellStar in LaGrange, GA. He retired at the end of 2022.

Alan is passionate about improving business processes using LEAN practices and expanding his knowledge and influence in business operations. He enjoys leveraging technology to solve challenges and enhance operational efficiency. His success has always been driven by his ability to connect with people—he truly values the relationships he builds, and he finds fulfillment in both coaching and learning from his colleagues.

Alan and his wife, Alicia, moved to LaGrange in 2019, making it their permanent home.
