No tickets needed, this is a family-friendly, free event.

Stories in the Garden

Join the Azalea Storytelling Festival and Hills & Dales Estate for the 13th annual Stories in the Garden, a free storytelling event that will be held behind the Visitor Center at Hills & Dales Estate, overlooking the Callaway family picnic area and under the shade of the tulip poplar trees. This year will feature Andy Offutt Irwin. The afternoon of family-friendly entertainment will provide light refreshments. Parking will be in the Hills & Dales Visitor Center parking lot and transportation to the site will be available for those with mobility issues. Doors will open at 1:15pm and the beautiful melodies of the Dulcimer Troupers will delight those who arrive early. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for their comfort. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the Visitor Center Great Hall.
