Lafayette Theatre Academy: James and the Giant Peach
Location: LTC's Black Box Theatre
214 Bull Street in Downtown LaGrange
Directed by: Carol Cain
When James’ horrible aunts send him to chop down their peach tree, he discovers a magic potion that causes the tree to produce a gigantic peach instead. In this musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s famous children’s book, James finds himself and seven human-sized insects at the center of the peach and on a remarkable journey. Facing hunger, sharks, and a host of other surreal obstacles, the group must work together as a family and take the peach all the way to the Empire State Building.
